How each part of Amplitude works, step by step.

Getting started

  1. 1Sign up with your email or Google. We email you a 6-digit code instead of a password.
  2. 2Open Settings and fill in your business details. These appear on invoices and contracts.
  3. 3Follow the “Get set up” checklist on your dashboard to add branding and create your first booking.

Bookings

  1. 1Click New booking and choose a form template first — it sets the event type for you.
  2. 2Only the client name is needed to create the client link and code. Fill in the rest anytime.
  3. 3Use the List, Forms and Clients views on the Bookings page to see status and form progress at a glance.

Client event forms

  1. 1Open a booking and click Copy link + code, then send both to your client.
  2. 2Your client enters the 6-digit code and fills in the form step by step. Answers save automatically.
  3. 3Required fields must be completed before the client can confirm. You can download the answers as a PDF.
  4. 4Build your own forms on the Form templates page and mark them Active to use them in new bookings.

Form templates

  1. 1On the Form templates page, click New template and choose how to start: build from scratch, import a form, or use the default.
  2. 2Build from scratch: add your own sections, then add questions with answer types like text, date, dropdown, yes/no, address or song list. Mark any question required.
  3. 3Import a form you already have: paste the text, upload a file, or link a Google Form or Typeform. We turn it into sections and questions for you to review before saving.
  4. 4Use Check all / Uncheck all on any section to switch its questions on or off at once.
  5. 5Set a template Active to offer it when creating a booking; keep it as a Draft while you're still working on it.

Inquiry form, packages & add-ons

  1. 1Go to Settings → Inquiry form, packages & add-ons and pick your link name.
  2. 2Add packages and add-ons with prices, or click Start with sample packages to begin from an example.
  3. 3Turn on Live and save. Share the link or paste the embed code on your website.
  4. 4New inquiries appear in Bookings with the client's chosen package and add-ons. Prices always come from your saved packages.
  5. 5A date shows as booked once a booking on that date is Confirmed.

Contracts & e-signatures

  1. 1In Settings → Contracts, keep the default clauses, switch clauses on or off, edit wording or add your own.
  2. 2Prefer your attorney's document? Switch on Use my own agreement and paste it in.
  3. 3Smart tags like {{client_name}} and {{event_date}} fill in automatically for each booking.
  4. 4To change one client's contract, open the booking and click Review & customize.
  5. 5When the client signs, the booking moves to Confirmed and a signed PDF with an audit trail is available to both of you.

Music & timeline

  1. 1Clients search for songs, play a short preview and add them to Must Play or Do Not Play.
  2. 2They can also type a song and press Enter if it isn't found.
  3. 3On the timeline, clients drag moments into order (or use the arrows on a phone) and can download an itinerary PDF.

Client files

  1. 1Clients upload files in the “Files for your DJ” section of their form — up to 100 MB each.
  2. 2You'll find them under Client files when you open the booking.

Invoices & branding

  1. 1Upload your logo and cover, and pick a brand color in Settings → Branding, then click Save profile.
  2. 2Check the Invoice preview in Settings to see how your branding looks.
  3. 3When creating an invoice, the preview beside the form updates as you type.

Calendar sync

  1. 1In Settings → Calendar sync, click Add to Google Calendar or Add to Apple / Outlook.
  2. 2Your events appear in that calendar. Google can take a few hours to show changes.

Team members

  1. 1Open Team and invite someone by email as a Manager or Assistant.
  2. 2Managers can manage bookings and settings; Assistants have more limited access.
  3. 3Teammates see your business in their account switcher after signing in with the invited email.
